October or August?
Sometimes random facts pop into my head and I need to find somewhere and write it down to remind myself on how stupid the little things are
There might be a time when you were confused on why was October the 10th month of the calendar year, when Oct literary means 8.
Well I had that same question when I was in elementary school, so I asked around my teachers and found out that October used to be 8th month of the year until January and February being added into the calendar.
So I guess this means that when January and February was added all the months goes shifted back 2, and this means August used to be 6th month of the year?
And it was only 10 months for a year too, man if everything is just power of 10, it will be so much easier to do calculation (not really)
